Dominic Leonardo was born in 1975, in Nashville Tennessee. He was raised in Nashville, Tennessee and attended Father Ryan High School graduating in 1994. He attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and was President of the U.T. National Political Science Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha. He graduated in 1998 from the Political Science Honors Program with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
In 1999, Mr. Leonardo entered law school at the Nashville School of Law in Nashville, Tennessee. During his first two years in law school, he worked as a legal clerk for Duzane, Kooperman & Mondelli. In 2001, he was hired as a court officer and legal clerk for The Honorable Steve R. Dozier Judge of Division I Criminal Court in Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Nashville School of Law in 2003.
After completing law school, he successfully passed the bar examination and received his law license in 2004. Mr. Leonardo was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee in 2004. He returned to Duzane, Kooperman & Mondelli in 2004. Mr. Leonardo maintains a practice in the areas of criminal law, divorce, personal injury, probate, wills, and general civil litigation.
